Obituary of Angela Duffy

Angela Duffy, age 44, of Poughkeepsie, died Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. Angela was born March 23, 1968 in Poughkeepsie, NY. She is the daughter of Peter W. and the late Georgia (Papastrat) Dourdis. She married Jerry Duffy on June 24, 1989 at Kimisis Greek Orthodox Church. She was employed by Rite Aid Poughkeepsie as a cashier. Angela was a graduate of Poughkeepsie High School and a member of the Kimisis Greek Orthodox Church. She is survived by her husband: Jerry Duffy of Poughkeepsie NY; one son: Christopher S. Duffy and his Girl Friend Raven Kenan of Poughkeepsie, NY; her father Peter W. Dourdis of Poughkeepsie, NY and her grandson, Christopher J. Duffy of Poughkeepsie, NY. Angela was predeceased by her Mother, Georgia Dourdis. The funeral will be held 6:00 pm on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. Burial will be private and at the conveniance of the family.
