Obituary of Frank Palazzolo

Frank Anthony Palazzolo, 80, passed away January 4, 2013 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. He was born in Poughkeepsie on September 26, 1932 to Joseph and Rose (Cataldi) Palazzolo. On July 15, 1956 Frank married Regina "Jean" A. Napoli at St. Mary's Church in Kingston, NY. His wife survives at home. Frank was a Manager at IBM Poughkeepsie until his retirement in 1991. He was a Poughkeepsie High School graduate and served in the US Navy. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Church and Mt. Alvernia, the Quarter Century Club and past member of the Italian Center. Frank enjoyed bowling and softball. In retirement, he owned and operated a limousine business & always looked forward to family get-togethers Along with his wife, Frank is survived by his son Frank Palazzolo of Poughkeepsie; daughter & son-in-law Rosanne & Richard Prandoni of LaGrange, NY; sons & daughters-in-law Mark & Cheryl Palazzolo of Poughkeepsie, NY and David & Carol Palazzolo of North Carolina; grandchildren Margo Palazzolo, Tori Palazzolo, Heather Wargo (James), Rachel Prandoni, Janine Palazzolo, Mark Palazzolo, Stephanie Palazzolo, Christina Palazzolo, Gina Palazzolo, Alex Palazzolo; great-grandson Michael and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Joseph Palazzolo and his sister Antoinette Senk. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 from 10:00am - 2:00pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
