Marty was my next door neighbor growing up. It's been a long time since I have seen him but I will always remember Marty as a good guy who loved talking about the Yankees and baseball in general. He was very helpful in showing me the correct way to throw or catch a ball and I think he was the first one who called me "Thurman" - it actually stuck for a while, which was a great compliment until reality set in! May he rest in peace.
