Obituary of Nouri Nesheiwat

Nouri Nesheiwat 83 of the City of Poughkeepsie, died Monday January 14, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital. Nouri has been a local resident for over 8 years, previously from Jordan. Nouri enjoyed being with his family and friends and loved to make tents. Nouri was a member of St. James Antiochian Orthodox Church. Born in Salt Jordan on March 1, 1929, he was the son of Eid and Nsarah Nesheiwat. In 1958 he married Khazana Nesheiwat in Jordan. Nouri is survived by his children and their spouses; Riad and Sophia Nesheiwat of Poughquag, NY., Samar and Nabil Alhjazen of Poughkeepsie, NY., Maison and Sammy Nesheiwat of Poughkeepsie, NY., Jazmen and Nebal Kasar of Poughkeepsie, NY., Munther and Nancy Nesheiwat of Poughkeepsie, NY., Najla and Gassan Msas, Pleasant Valley, NY., Eid and Shreen Nesheiwat of Hyde Park, NY. and Mary and Joseph Nesheiwat of Poughkeepsie, NY. Nouri is also survived by 21 Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews. Calling hours will be Tuesday January 15, 2012 from 5pm to 9pm at the St. James Antiochian Orthodox Church 441 Violet Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York. Funeral Services will also be held at the Church, 11am Wednesday January 16, 2012, with burial at St. Peters Cemetery. Funeral Arrangements are being handled by the Timothy P.
