Obituary of Fawzieh Jweinat

Fawzieh Jweinat 77 of Poughkeepsie, New York died after a long illness at Vassar Brothers Medical Center on March 27, 2013. Fawzieh was a home maker. She has been a local resident since Oct 6, 1976, previously from Jordan. Born in Jordan on September 4, 1935. In December of 1952, in Hussain, Jordan she married Raji Issa Jweinat, he predeceased her on February 18, 2002. Fawzieh is survived by her children, Issa Jweinat of Italy, Adnan Jweinat of Rhode Island, Atef Jweinat of Poughkeepsie, Ayda Jweinat of Poughkeepsie, Afaf Jweinat of Italy Awatef Jweinat of Poughkeepsie, Abeer Jweinat of Florida and Oraib Jweinat of Poughkeepsie. Fawzieh is also survived by many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Fawzieh was one of the most loving and generous mothers to all her children who stayed by her side through her suffering times and also the good times. Calling hours will be held on Friday March 29, 2013 from 4pm to 8pm at the St. James Church Violet Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York 12601. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday 10:30am March 30, 2013 at St. James Church. Burial will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery Salt Point Turnpike, Poughkeepsie, New York.
