Obituary of Lowell Weiner

Lowell Weiner 64 of the Town of Poughkeepsie died March 26, 2013 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Lowell was born in the Bronx on December 14, 1948, he was the son of the late Irving and Minnie (Packer) Weiner. In September of 1978, Lowell married Joanne Barilla in Tuckahoe, NY. He was a loving Husband, Father, Brother, Son & Uncle. Lowell was a double Purple heart award recipient for his time serving his Country during The Vietnam War. He was a proud member of the Army's First Air Cavalry in 1968 & 1969.He was an avid car enthusiast which he shared with his son Daniel. He leaves behind his Wife Joanne, Son Daniel, Sister Sandra Ragusa and her husband Nick Ragusa, Brother Michael and his wife Jill, Nephew Scott Kadet and nieces Jessica Lage, ilyssa Weiner, Allison Weiner, Hayley Weiner. The family will receive friends Monday April 1, 2013 from 9am to 10am at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York 12603. Funeral services will follow at 10am with burial and Military Honors at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family asks that memorial donations be made in Lowell's name to the American Legion or American Heart Association.
