Obituary of Judy Botsakos

Judy F. (Jackson) Botsakos, age 65, of Poughkeepsie, died Saturday, April 6, 2013 at home in Poughkeepsie. Judy was born August 11, 1947 in Waldwick, NJ . She is the daughter of the late Peter and Florence (DeChristopher) Jackson. She married David T. Botsakos on January 19, 1996 in Port Ewen New York. She was employed by United Health Care Kingston, NY as a Claims Representative. She also previously worked at the Children's Medical Group in Poughkeepsie, NY. Judy was a Past Member of the Poughkeepsie Elk's Lodge #275, and a member of the Highland Grange 848. She liked to crochet, make Afghans, loved to cook and loved her family especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband: David T. Botsakos of Poughkeepsie, and two daughters: Rachel J. Wade and her fiancé Frederick Boughton Jr. of Poughkeepsie, NY, Noelle Sollento and fiancé Patrick Miozzi of Poughkeepsie, NY; her mother Florence Lynch of Poughkeepsie ; she also has three grandchildren, Grand Daughter, Andrea Fauteux of Staatsburg, NY; Granddaughter, Taylor Fauteux of Staatsburg, NY; Grandson, Patrick Phillip Russell Miozzi of Poughkeepsie, NY; Sister And Brother In-law, Jean Jackson-Gallo And Steve Gallo of Dingmans Ferry PA. Visitation will be held Wednesday April 10, 2013 from 4pm to 8pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York 12603. The funeral service will be held at 7:30pm during the visitation. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
