Dorothy A. MacFarland, age 83, of Beverly, MA, died Monday, June 17, 2013 at the Herrick House of Beverly, MA. Dorothy was born October 13, 1929 in South Warren, Maine. She is the daughter of the late John Franklin and Eunis (Libby) Beane. She married Robert C. MacFarland on July 24, 1954 in South Warren Maine. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert C. MacFarland on October 5, 1991. She is survived by one daughter: Marlana E. Lukaitis and her husband Joseph of Poughkeepsie, NY; Son nd Daughter In-law, Dean and Christine A. MacFarland of Gloucester, MA; Son and Girl Friend, Robert and Monika Lidstone MacFarland of Poughkeepsie, NY; Grandchildren, Matthew, Elizabeth, Kristin Lukaitis; Adam, Nicholas, Kyle, Travis And Megan MacFarland, sisters: Janet Wight of Camden, Maine, Joan Snow of Orient, OH and one brother: Merrick Beane of NH. A graveside service will be held 10:00 am on Friday, June 21, 2013 at the LaGrange Rural Cemetery, Overlook Road, Poughkeepsie, NY.
