Obituary of Maureen Centoducati

Maureen C. Centoducati, age 75, of Poughkeepsie, died Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. Maureen was born January 17, 1938 in Yonkers, NY. She is the daughter of the late William and the late Eileen (King) Leavy Sr.. She married Nicholas M. Centoducati on August 7, 1971 in Yonkers, New York. She was previously employed by Yonkers High School and was also a hair dresser in New Windsor and Yonkers. Maureen has been a local resident since 1986 and previously is from Yonkers, NY. Maureen loved to shop, travel and visit the casinos. She is survived by her husband: Nicholas M. Centoducati of Poughkeepsie, NY; daughter: Kim Bankowitz of Beacon, NY; brother: William Leavy of Deerfield, FL; sister and brother in-law: Carole and Al Impallomeni of Washington, Maine; nieces and nephews: Colleen Filingeri, Lori Leavy, William S. Leavy, James Wainwright, Bob Impallomeni, Diane Impallomeni. Maureen is also survived by her great nieces and nephews: Keri Filingeri, James Filingeri, Jack Leavy, Ella Leavy, and Julia Leavy. Calling Hours will be held Wednesday July 24, 2013 from 4pm to 8pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. There will be a prayers service at 7:30pm during the visitation. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
