Obituary of Mary Dwyer

Mary "Aline" Dwyer, age 66, of Lagrange, died Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. Aline was born September 17, 1946 in Manhattan, NY. She is the daughter of the late Charles and the late Mary (Collins) Heeran. She married Martin M. Dwyer on February 14, 1970 at St Nicholas Tolentine in The Bronx. She was employed as an Home Health Assistant. Aline was a graduate of St Nicholas Tolentine in the Bronx and also a graduate of NY Foundling Hospital in Child Care. She was a local resident since 1974, previously of the Bronx. Aline was a member of St. Martin dePorres Church in Poughkeepsie. Aline loved to do Scrap booking, play Dominos, she loved to shop, travel and go on cruises. Most of all Aline enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren Avery and Ashlynn. She is survived by her husband: Martin M. Dwyer; Son And Daughter In-law Brendan And Nicole Dwyer of Verbank, NY;, son: Andrew Dwyer of Poughkeepsie, NY; sister: Kathy Roberts of Bell Harbor; brother Bernie Heeran of Bell Harbor grandchildren, Avery And Ashlynn Dwyer of Verbank, NY; Sister In-law And Brother In-law, Jeanne And Jack Gensch of Poughkeepsie, NY and Several nieces and nehews. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Friday, July 26, 2013 at St. Martin dePorres Church, Cedar Valley Road, Poughkeepsie, NY. Burial will follow at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, NY. Calling hours will be Thursday, July 25 from at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.
