Obituary of Stephen Chadderdon

Stephen J. Chadderdon, age 91, of Poughkeepsie, died Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Northern Dutchess Hospital Rhinebeck , NY. Stephen was born May 6, 1922 in Indian Lake, NY. He is the son of the late Wallace M. and the late Ina (Starbuck) Chadderdon. He married Marion V. Fleeson on October 5, 1946 in Brooklyn, New York. Stephen served in the United States Army. He was employed by IBM East Fishkill as a Mechanical Engineer. Stephen was a member of American Legion Post 1302, Ford V8 Club and Stephen enjoyed restoring Antique Cars He is survived by his wife: Marion V.(Fleeson) Chadderdon of Poughkeepsie ; son and daughter In-law, Robert and Patricia Chadderdon of York, PA; daughter and son In-law, Catherine and John Iaccino of Rhinebeck, NY; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 12:00 pm on Friday, August 23, 2013 at Holy Trinity Church, 775 Main Street, Poughkeepsie, NY. Burial will follow be at St. Peters Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, NY.
