Obituary of Mary Bennett

Mary Alice Bennett, age 84, of Poughkeepsie, died Thursday, August 22, 2013 at home in Poughkeepsie. Mary was born July 30, 1929 in Poughkeepsie, NY. She is the daughter of the late William and the late Isabelle (Doyle) Cox. She married Arthur L. Bennett. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur L. Bennett 1989. In 1976 Mary retired from Montgomery Ward Poughkeepsie, New York where she worked as a Collection Agent. Mary was a lifelong resident, and she loved couponing. She is survived by one son: Rich Bennett and his fiancé Christine Rueger of Poughkeepsie, NY; daughter and son In-law, Jean and Jim Rynearson of Bainbridge Island, WA; grandson and wife, Tristan and Kelly of Toms River, NJ; grandson, Keith of Dover Plains, NY; grandsons, Forrest and William of Bainbridge Island, WA; great grandson, Connor of Toms River, NJ and her sister Margaret Pierson of Florida. Mary was also predeceased by her Son, Bruce Bennett. Calling hours will be Sunday, August 25 from 2pm to 2:30pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. The funeral will be held 2:30 pm on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. Burial will be Private and at the convenience of the family.
