Obituary of Timothy Augello

Timothy Richard Augello, 66, passed away September 23, 2013 at the Hudson Valley Rehabilitation Center in Highland, NY. He was born on May 1, 1947 in Buffalo, NY to Joseph Richard and Diana Adams Augello. A local Poughkeepsie resident for 30 years, Timothy worked at Adams Fairacre Farms in Poughkeepsie. He is survived by his mother Diana Adams Augello at home in Poughkeepsie; brothers and sisters-in-laws Michael & Gladys Augello of Aspen, CO, David & Cathy Augello of Poughkeepsie, NY and Peter & Connie Augello of Bethlehem, PA; nephews Steven & Brian Augello; Uncles Ralph & Donald Adams; and several cousins. He was predeceased by his Aunt Dorothy Adams Anderson who was his beloved godmother. Calling hours will be held Friday, September 27, 2013 at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home from 3pm to 6 pm. Services will take place at 5:30pm in the funeral home. Burial is private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Timothy P. After graduating from a local private school, he emigrated to California, where he earned a certificate in landscape design and practiced in the field commercially and with friends and family. A talented musician, he studied guitar at an early age; a Gibson guitar was his favorite possession. He recorded his original songs in Nashville, playing with accomplished artists. His music can be found at soundcloud.com. Tim was also active in the publishing industry and lived and worked in New York for many years. As time passed, Tim spent more time painting, working mostly in pastels and watercolors. His work hangs in many homes in the area. He was recently Artist of the month at Catskill Art in Poughkeepsie.
