My Grandmother was a kindhearted soul. She was a very caring person and always made sure that my holidays were memorable with my family. I will always have fond childhood memories of Thanksgiving and Christmas at my Grandmother's house.
Her love for sewing was not in question and as a young girl I always loved exploring her basement filled with beautiful fabrics, colorful threads and sewing machines galore. Her gorgeous quilts with the beautiful details not only showcased her talent but you could tell the patience and love that went into these quilts. Her quilts were not only a beautiful piece of craftsmanship but a reflection of my Grandmother and the many qualities that I loved her for and will always cherish.

I had the pleasure of meeting Ethel when I worked as an Occupational Therapist at St. Francis Hospital. She was a lovely woman with so much talent. I still have the wall hanging that she made for me when I was expecting my first child. I always looked forward to her delicious fudge that she made at Christmas and packaged so nicely for several staff members in the OT/PT department. She will be missed.

Our thoughts are with Ethel's family. Ethel was a wonderful volunteer at Saint Francis Hospital especially working with the Occupational Therapy department making "walker bags". I worked very closely with Ethel as the Nurse Manger of the Reahbilatation Unit. She was a very warm and caring woman and will be missed. Bob H.
