Obituary of Madelyn Maruzzi

Madelyn Maruzzi, 92 of Poughkeepsie passed away on Monday September 30, 2013 at Vassar Brothers medical Center. She was born on May 22, 1921 in Jamaica, Queens, New York.Madelyn is survived by a son John Maruzzi Jr. She was predecesed by her husband John Maruzzi in 1999. She is survived by a brother Otto Miranda Jr. and a sister in-law Dale, along with one nephew Otto Miranda III and his wife Lori, two nieces Dawn Thayer and husband Gary, Jean Davenheimer and husband Glenn. Madelyn also has three great nieces that survive Alyssa, Paige and Katy.Madelyn was a frequent attendee at the Tri Town Senior Center, an avid card player and Madelyn was a member of St. Martin dePorres Church of Poughkeepsie, New York.Calling Hours will be held Wednesday October 2, 2013 from 2pm to 7pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York 12603.
