Obituary of Stacey Strang
With a smile on her face and a positive attitude, Stacey Ann (Fontanella) Strang left us peacefully on Tuesday, November 26th, 2013 after a courageous battle, to join her beloved father John in Heaven. Stacey was born on May 5, 1970. She lived in Poughkeepsie, NY her entire life. She graduated from Marist College and worked as a CPA at Pangia and Company, LLC. Stacey's favorite role in life was being a wife to her husband Joe and a mother to her five children Alex, Joseph, Brennen, Elida and Owen.
She celebrated every event and created memories in all that she did. This past Thursday she and her family went to Radio City Music Hall to see The Christmas Spectacular. The smiles on their faces demonstrated the joy she helped create and the happiness they shared as a family. One of her favorite activities was watching the opening ceremonies of the Olympics. Stacey was an avid crafter who made memorable scrapbooks for her family and loved needlepoint. She loved going to the beach and spending time on family vacations. Stacey and Joe had an unwavering love. They shared an unbreakable bond and cherished being with their children and family, laughing, telling stories and sharing life.
Stacey will be missed by all who loved and knew her. She is the beloved wife of Joe Strang III, to whom she was married to for 16 years, the loving mother of Alex, Joseph, Brennen, Elida, and Owen, the cherished daughter of Diana Fontanella and the treasured sister of Gene; his wife Cathy, their children Gene Jr. (Eileen and their 2 children) and Danielle Fontanella. She is predeceased by her father John Fontanella.
