Lisa A. Alexander, age 50, of Millbrook, died Monday, December 2, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital Poughkeepsie, NY. Lisa was born December 18, 1962 in Sharon, CT. She is the daughter of James Edward and Patricia (Hopkins) Alexander. She was employed by Lowe's Poughkeepsie as a Kitchen Designer. Lisa was a member of the Lyall Memorial Federated Church, she loved to cook, work on crafts and do things for others. She is survived by ; her father and mother, James Edward and Patricia Hopkins Alexander of Millbrook, NY; sisters: Jamie Alexander of New York, NY, Debbie Long of Poughkeepsie, NY; Aunt and Uncle, Linda and James Hill of Garland, NC; Uncle and Aunt, Fred and Paula Alexander of Canton, NC; friends, Gerrett Dodge, Steve O'Malley, Laura Uhl, Joe from Lowe's, and several nieces and nephews and cousins. The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Lyall Memorial Federated Church, West Maple Ave., Millbrook, NY. Burial will be in private and at the convenience of the family..
