Obituary of Brendan Happel

Brendan John Happel, age 26, of Poughkeepsie, died Monday, December 9, 2013 at home in Poughkeepsie. Brendan was born February 13, 1987 in Poughkeepsie, NY. He is the son of the late William J. Happel and Margaret A. " Peggy " (Gates) Buccellato. Brendan was a cook at Buffalo Wild Wings Poughkeepsie, NY. Brendan was a member of St. Mary's Church Poughkeepsie. He was a Graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes High School and attended Dutchess Community College. He was a local resident all his life, he loved baseball, hockey and sports in general. Brendan also was in to body building in his spare time. Brendan was a well liked friend, he was very funny and a person everyone loved to be around. He will be missed by all those who loved him.He is survived by ; mother and step father, Margaret " Peggy " and Paul Buccellato of Poughkeepsie, NY; sister, Anne V. Happel of New York, NY, Katherine E. Happel and her companion Ryan Kreuser of Malta; brother and sister in-law, James P. and Stacey Happel of West Palm Beach, FL; Nieces , Alexis and Mikaela Happel; step sisters, Lori Happel of Wappingers, NY; Terri Happel of Sanford, FL; step brothers, Anthony Buccellato of Brooklyn, NY; Dominic Buccellato of Poughkeepsie, NY. several Aunts and Uncles and cousins. Calling hours will be Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 5pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Friday, December 13, 2013 at St. Mary's Church, Church Street, Poughkeepsie, NY.
