Obituary of David McDonald
David John McDonald, LaGrangeville, NY, at 50, born on February 21, 1963. On December 11, 2013, Dave unexpectedly left his friends and family to join the light with the Budweiser Girls. Dave will be remembered for his great sense of humor, his quick wit as well as his love and devotion for his children and wife. Dave is survived by his wife Shannon, his daughter Marisa, his son David Jr., his step-daughters Jacquelyn and Rebecca with her husband Louie, his grandchildren Alyssa and Emma. In addition, his surviving siblings are his brother Robert Wolfe and his wife JoAnn and their children Robert and Natasha, his brother Joe Mulcahy and his wife Susie, in-laws Eleanor and Louis Ginocchio, as well as many other nieces and nephews. Dave is predeceased by his mother, Lavern McDonald and his father, Arthur McDonald. Dave had recently retired from the Local 279 Empire Union Carpenter team and was with the Union for over 25 years. He was dedicated to his profession and was very proud to be a Union worker. His coworkers would surely attest that he kept things interesting with his jovial and mischievous personality. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Although he growled, he was a big teddy bear who would do anything for anyone. Being reconnected from high school was the most blessed event that happened to his wife Shannon and Dave stated he felt the same way almost every day. May he rest in peace and keep up his pranks as he watches over all of us with those beautiful blue eyes and that smile that never quit.
