Obituary of Maria Callicott

Maria Isabel Callicott, age 89, of Poughkeepsie, died Saturday, January 4, 2014 at her daughters home. Maria was born June 1, 1924 in Bogota, Colombia . She is the daughter of the late Dr. Buenaventura and the late Cecilia Martinez (Segura) Paz. She married Dewey Callicott on March 7, 1955 in California. She was predeceased by her husband, Dewey Callicott on November 30, 1994. Maria is survived by her daughter and son in-law Maria and William Madero of Poughkeepsie; son and daughter in-law Preston and Chelsea Callicott of Oregon; grandchildren Justin, Erica, Kerri Madero, Dakota and Genevieve Callicott; great granddaughter Gia; sister Teresa Paz Martinez and many nieces and nephews. Maria was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. A Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 5:00 pm on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. Calling hours will be Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 2pm to 5pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.
