Earl Evans, Jr., age 51, of Poughkeepsie, died Thursday, January 23, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital Poughkeepsie, NY. Earl was born August 29, 1962 in Poughkeepsie, NY. He is the son of the late Earl and the late Caroline (Boughton) Evans Sr.. He married Marilyn Roberts on October 5, 1980 in Wappingers Falls, New York. He was employed by McGuire's Flooring as a Laborer. Earl was a lifelong resident of the area. A Poughkeepsie High School Graduate. Earl loved to play pool, hunt and fish. He is survived by one daughter: Shannon Evans of Orange County, NY; son Keith Evans and his fiance Amanda Culver Evans of Fasset, PA; brother Michael Evans and his companion Donna Coffee of Poughkeepsie, NY; sister and brother In-law, Carol and John Barron of FL; brother and sister In-law, Jerry and Antoinette Evans of Poughkeepsie, NY and his two grandchildren, Jeremy and Judith Evans. Earl was also predeceased by his sister Dale Evans. Calling hours will be Monday, January 27, 2014 from 5pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.
