Louis and my father were great friends going back to their Ben Franklin school days. Still have fond memories of "Uncle Louie," as my family called him, whenever he would he come back to visit Carbondale. Louis had a big heart and a sensational wit to match. Very sad to hear of his passing, but I know he and my father are now hanging out again in heaven. My thoughts and prayers to his family and friends over in NY.

I shared a room with Louis in Vassar Hospital recently. While we were there he was a riot. I was also a coworker at IBM. I will never forget one morning at 2am I had to sneeze. I am a very light sleeper and couldnt hold back. All of a sudden Louis called me and replied " is that you or me ? " . I said it was me ! I couldnt help it , I had to laugh. Always remember Louis.
