Obituary of Dolores J. Bruzgul

Dolores "Joy" Garbarino Bruzgul, 63, of the town of Poughkeepsie, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014 at home. Born in Middletown, NY on April 2, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Emil and Ella Krom Garbarino. Joy was a graduate of Roosevelt High School and was a member of Regina Coeli Church. On September 16, 1972 Joy married George A. Bruzgul at Regina Coeli Church and he survives at home. Joy worked at the TEG Credit Union as a head teller and she retired in April 2009. In addition to her husband, Joy is survived by her son Justin A. Bruzgul of Gardiner, NY and her daughter and son-in-law Tara and Brett Gittere of Hyde Park, NY and her two grandchildren Jayson and Gabriella Gittere. Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 17, 2014 from 4-8pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 10:00am in the Funeral Home with Father James A. Garisto officiating and burial will follow at the Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
