Obituary of Helen Thompson

Helen A. Thompson, 90, of Hyde Park, NY died Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the Quaker Hill Manor. Born on January 5, 1924 in Yonkers, NY, Helen was the daughter of the late Ervin and Helen O'Brian Bell. She was a local resident for 14 years. Helen married Clifton Thompson in 1963 in Norfolk, VA and her husband predeceased her in 1976. Helen had worked as a purchasing agent for the Ciba Geigy Corp., retiring in 2000. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Catherine and Joseph Paolicelli of Poughkeepsie and her grandchildren Michelle and Michael Paolicelli. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 6:00-8:00pm, with a service at 8:00pm following visitation, at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. Burial is private and at the convenience of the family.
