Obituary of Robert Hare

Robert N. Hare 58 of LaGrange, New York died at home on April 9, 2014. Born May 11, 1955 in Poughkeepsie, New York he was the son of the late Nelson and Marie Brennan Hare. Bob was a local resident all of his life. He was a graduate of Poughkeepsie High School, attended Canton College and was a graduate of Marist College. Robert was the owner of Hare Contracting. On April 26, 1987 in Millbrook, New York Bob married Vanessa DuBois, she survives at home. Bob attended St. Mary's Church in Poughkeepsie, he was a big Yankees, Giants and Knicks fan. He loved to fish and enjoyed his three dogs. Bob is survived by his wife Vannessa of LaGrange, New York, two daughters, Sarah L. and Diane E. Hare of Manhattan, mother Marie Hare of Poughkeepsie, New York, sisters Kathy White and Nancy Melilli of Poughkeepsie, New York and several nieces and nephews. Robert was also predeceased by his father Nelson Hare and his sister Susan Hare. Calling hours will be held Sunday April 13, 2014 from 3pm to 7pm at the Timothy P. Doyle funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York 12603. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 am Monday April 14, 2014 at St. Mary's Church Poughkeepsie, New York.
