Obituary of Joseph Jasinski

Joseph E. Jasinski 63 of the Town of Poughkeepsie died at home Sunday April 13, 2013. Born June 21, 1950 in Poughkeepsie, New York, he was the son of the Late Edward J. and Ruth Becker Jasinski of Pleasant Valley, New York. Joe was a local resident all his life, a Arlington High School Graduate and United States Army Veteran. Joe work for over 41 years at the Town of Poughkeepsie Highway Department, retiring in 2012. Joe was an avid Yankees Fan, he loved baseball and enjoyed his music. Joe is survived by his three daughters; Dawn Jasinski of Poughkeepsie, Kristy Jasinski and her fiancé Michael Oakley of Poughkeepsie, Alicia Jasinski and her fiancé Justin Freymuth of Poughkeepsie; granddaughter Alexis Freymuth; sister Sharon Simmons of Pleasant Valley; brother Christopher Jasinski of Poughkeepsie and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Wednesday April 16, 2014 from 5pm to 8pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York 12603. Funeral Services will be held 10am Thursday April 17, 2014 at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Poughkeepsie, Rural Cemetery with Military Honors.
