Obituary of John W. Moffitt

John W. Moffitt, age 77, of Unionvale, New York died Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at home in Lagrangeville. John was born August 2, 1936 in Manhattan, NY. He is the son of the late John I. and the late Elizabeth (Towle) Moffitt. He married Carol A. Gebert at St. Joseph's Church Millbrook, New York. He served in the United States Army. John retired from IBM Poughkeepsie in 1992 where he worked as aEngineer. He is survived by his wife: Carol A.(Gebert) Moffitt, his daughter: Wendi C. Moffitt of Lagrangeville, NY; sister: Virginia Corrigan of Red Hook, NY : two brothers: Clarke Moffitt of Pleasant Valley, NY, Anthony Peluso of FL; he also has one grand daughter, Victoria J. Moffitt-Helmeset of Hobart, NY. Burial and services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Funeral Arrangements were handled by the Timothy P.
