Since working for Saint Francis Hospital Preschool and housed at the Early Learning Center, Mr. Art, as I called him made Debbie, myself and our students feel very welcomed there. He was kind to us and helped us with whatever we needed. I will remember most how he embraced us with his presence and we would be silly with him when he would serenade us with whatever song came into his head. We will miss him so very much! May he rest in peace.

To the family of Artie. I'm so very, very sorry to see that Artie has passed ! I met Artie while walking the beat near Chicken Delight on Main Street in the 1960s. Later on, Artie would ride with a delivery person from Chicken Delight to my apartment. Even at this young age, he had a great personality.
