Obituary of ANGEL ORTIZ

Angel R. Ortiz Jr., 44, passed away Wednesday September 24, 2014 at Bay Front Hospital. . Born in the Bronx, NY on February 5, 1970 he was the son to Angel R Ortiz Sr. and Carmen Rodriguez. Angel was married to Monique Gonzalez on September 25, 1993 in Westbury, LI. Monique survives at home. Angel was a self employed accountant. He also worked as a Teacher's Assistant and Substitute teacher for the Arlington Central School Districts. Angel loved to listen to music and dance. He was also a member of the N.A.T.P. Angel is survived by his parents' Angel Sr. and Carmen Ortiz of Springhill, FL, his Wife Monique and sons' Alexander Angel and Adam Joseph Ortiz of Poughkeepsie, NY, his sister Carmen Schilaro of Springhill, FL, and sister Irene Luciano and husband Jose of Brentwood, NY. Angel is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will take place on Tuesday September 30, 2014 from 4-8pm at the Timothy P. Doyle F.H. Inc. 371 Hooker Avenue Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. Funeral Services will take Place at 7:30 on Tuesday September 30, 2014 in the Funeral Home. Burial is private and at the convenience of the family.
