Obituary of MARGARET GRANT

Margaret " Peggy" Gallagher Grant died Wednesday September 24, 2014 at Vassar Brothers Hospital at the age of 65. Born in Poughkeepsie, New York on November 17, 1948, She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Norma Gallagher. Peggy was a graduate of Poughkeepsie High School and worked locally as a travel agent. In 2004 in Poughkeepsie, Peggy married James Grant, he survives at home in Hyde Park. Peggy is also survived by her sister Michelle Phillips and her husband Kim of Poughkeepsie, her special goddaughter Lauren Storm and her long time boyfriend Scott Eidam of Poughkeepsie, three Aunts and an Uncle and many cousins. Peggy also has several special friends who will miss her very much. Calling hours will be held Saturday October 4, 2014 from 10am to 12pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York 12603. There will be a service held during the calling hours and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
