Obituary of DAVID HERRINGTON

Ret. Sgt 1st Class David Richard Herrington died at home in Cache Oklahoma on October 8, 2014. David was born in Poughkeepsie, New York on March 17, 1963, he was the son of Richard P. and Florence E. Longobardi Herrington. David was a lifelong Poughkeepsie resident most of his life. David was a resident in Oklahoma for the last 15 years. David loved motorcycling and cars. David was a graduate of Ketchum High School Class of 1981. David entered the United States Army in 1993, retiring in 2012. David is survived by his parents Richard P. and Florence E Herrington of Poughkeepsie, NY., sister Stacy Marie Wagler of Poughkeepsie, NY., nephews Gregory and Nicholas Wagler of Poughkeepsie, NY., grandmother Elizabeth J. Herrington of Poughkeepsie, NY. and several Aunts, Uncles, cousins and many friends. David also leaves behind his friends, Jerry and Gale Dixon of Cache Oklahoma, Jeff and Renee Chase of Cache Oklahoma, Carmen and Noelle and JC and Deborah Potts of Arkansas. David was predeceased by his grandparents, Theodore Herrington and Joseph and Margarite Longobardi. The family would like to sent a special Thank You to Amy and Jody for the Balloon Release in Memory of David. A celebration of David's life will be held on Sunday October 26, 2014 from 1pm to 4pm with a memorial service at 3:30pm at the Timothy P.
