Peter in the short couple years I knew him and worked with him, he continually showed that he would get things done. He was a extremely hard worker and he was passionate about work and life. He accomplished some things while working for us that no one before him was able to do.
We will miss him and try to carry on the work that he started in his memory.

I knew Pete from the Rhinebeck restaurant, and I liked how he presented himself to the customers. He dressed well--shirts and pants pressed and clean-- and was very polite in his demeanor. He was a true son of the Old World and its values; it is fitting then, that he will return there for his final resting place.

Although I have only known Pete for the past 10 years I know he was a wonderful man. From the first time I walked into the Pete's in Hyde Park I felt welcomed. Pete set the tone and all his employees followed through. Over the years I have come to know the rest of the family. My heart goes out to all of you at this sad time. All the way back to our days at Lourdes High School with Jimmy, I will fondly remember many trips to Pete's Famous either for a pre or post get together bite to eat. I was so saddened to hear of your loss. Pete has been on my mind for the last few weeks. I have many great memories, mostly funny, of pete as my boss. I will never forget the time I made a cake for a co-worker, brought it into Petes. Pete had a customer that wanted a whole cake for a party, so Pete sold mine to the customer. He told me one of the kitchen staff dropped it. I can laugh now, but wasn't happy then. I would rather have lost many homemade cakes, then to have lost a friend. If there is anything I can do, please reach out. I loved you Pete
