Obituary of Barbara Bailey

Barbara J. Bailey, 76, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2014 at her home in Poughkeepsie, New York. Barbara was born on July 29, 1938 in Kingston, Jamaica to the late Frederick Burke and Ventrice Burke. In 1964, Barbara married Winston Bailey in London England. Winston survives at home (now in Columbus, Georgia), as do Barbara's three children, Carol, Hugh, and Winston, in New York. Barbara worked as a registered nurse for many years until her retirement in 2013. Barbara enjoyed traveling, reading, and cooking. She was also a devoted mother and grandmother, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Funeral Services are private and under the direction of Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home.
