Obituary of Leo Caston

Leo Caston, 95, a longtime resident of Poughkeepsie, NY, died January 29, 2015 in California. Born in the Bronx, NY on May 9, 1919, he was the son of Harry and Rose Kastanowitz. He enlisted in the Navy, serving during World War II. On October 28, 1943 he married Helen Canter in New York City. He was a business owner, an avid golfer and bridge player. He was predeceased by his wife, as well as by one brother, Murray. He is survived by his younger brother Robert Caston, his children Hillary and Harris and Caston, as well as his grandchildren Charles, Jonathan, and Erica Caston and Brandon Weinberger, and his great-grandson Alexander. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2015, 12 Noon, at Temple Schomre Israel , Poughkeepsie, NY with Rabbi Eliezer Langer officiating.
