Obituary of Lorraine Smith

Lorraine R Smith, 83 of LaGrange, NY passed away on February 16, 2015 at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital of Westchester Medical Center. She was born July 3, 1931 in Milton, NY, the daughter of Stephen and Mildred Hasbrouck. Lorraine married James W Smith on April 21, 1957 in St James Methodist Church, Kingston, NY. James survives at home. She was a homemaker who loved her family, especially her grand and great grandchildren. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Poughkeepsie, NY. Survivors include her husband James, her daughter Maureen Goshea and son-in-law Wayne Goshea of Hyde Park, NY, her daughter Karen Supple and son-in-law John Supple, Jr of Pleasant Valley, NY. Her grandchildren Ryan Goshea, Kelsey Supple and Kara Supple. Her great grandchildren Matthew, Isabella and Michael Bennett. Sister-in-law Kathy Hasbrouck of Panama City Beach, FL. Brother-in-law Robert B Smith of Binghamton, NY. Brother-in-law Charles R Smith of Susquehanna, PA and many cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeased by a brother, Robert Hasbrouck. Visitation will be Sunday, February 22, 2015 from 3p-6p at Timothy P Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. Funeral services and burial to be held in the spring.
