Obituary of Kenneth Bishop

Kenneth Bishop, age 68, of Poughkeepsie and formerly of Salt Point died Friday, March 13, 2015 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center Poughkeepsie, NY. Kenneth was born April 2, 1946 in Binghamton, NY. He is the son of the late Norman and the late Florence (Post) Bishop. He married June L. Bohlinger on May 12, 1984 at New Hackensack Reform Church. He was employed by Hertz Rental in Poughkeepsie as a Vehicle Attendant. Kenneth was a local resident all his life, a member of Salt Point Fire Department where he was very dedicated to the Fire Department. Kenneth enjoyed watching TV, camping in the Adirondacks, he like Antique Cars and loved his dog Nikki. He is survived by his wife: June L.(Bohlinger) Bishop of Poughkeepsie, NY; sister Karen Bishop-Pilner of Carmel, NY; brother and sister In-law, Gregory Allen and Wanda Bishop of Poughkeepsie, NY; mother In-law, June Bohlinger of Poughkeepsie, NY and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 2pm to 4pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. Funeral services will be held at 3:30pm.
