Obituary of ROBERT HUTCHINGS

Robert " Wayne " Hutchings 68, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away on March 20, 2015. He was born on December 26, 1946 to the Margaret and Harold Hutchings. He married Barbara Anderson on August 17, 1969; she survives at home. Wayne is also survived by three daughters, Kirsten Yereance and her husband Gary of Hyde Park, Alison Hutchings of Poughkeepsie, and Jennifer Cannella and her husband Keith of Poughkeepsie. He is also survived by two grandsons: Kane Hernandez and Jackson Cannella, a brother Harold and his wife Donna of Poughkeepsie and sister in-law Karen Hutchings of Poughkeepsie and several nieces and nephews. Wayne was a graduate of Poughkeepsie High School class of 1965 and he worked for over 25 years as a butcher for Grand Union Co. Wayne was a proud Vietnam Veteran and a wonderful cook. He enjoyed preparing gourmet meals for his family and friends. Wayne was predeceased by his sister Nancy Keebler and brother Richard Hutchings. Calling hours will be held Wednesday March 25, 2015 from 4pm to 8pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York 12603. Funeral services will be 10am Thursday March 26, 2015 in the Funeral Home with Burial to follow at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
