Obituary of Patricia Tighe

Patricia A. Tighe, of LaGrange, died Monday, March 23, 2015 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Born in Poughkeepsie, NY, she was the daughter of the late George and Lillian Miller Davey. Pattie was a 1965 graduate of Arlington High School. She had worked for AT&T as a manager retiring in 1998. In 1965 Pattie married Joseph K. Tighe, Sr. at Holy Trinity Church and he survives her at home. Pattie loved to volunteer her time to help others , she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends Martha and Barbara. She was a member of the Poughkeepsie Elks BPOE #275, American Legion 1302 Ladies Auxiliary and the Exempts Fireman's Club. In addition to her husband, Pattie is survived by her daughter Suzanne Mata of Pine Plains, NY and her son and daughter-in-law Joseph K. Tighe, Jr. and Kelly of Pleasant Valley, NY. Also surviving are her grandchildren; Kristina and Brandee Robinson, Kayla Travis and her husband Zach, Alicia Mata, Nicole Reilly, Alexis Reilly, Shannon Reilly, Haleigh Tighe, Madison Tighe and Lily Tighe. Pattie was predeceased by her parents and her daughter, Nancy Robinson in 2006. Calling hours will be held 2pm to 6pm on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. The Funeral Service will be Monday, March 30, 2015 at 11:00am in the funeral home and burial will follow in the LaGrange Rural Cemetery.
