Obituary of Brian Shutter

Brian T. Shutter, age 62, of Poughkeepsie, died Friday, March 27, 2015 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center of Poughkeepsie, NY. Mr. Shutter was born March 22, 1953 in Beacon, NY. He is the son of the late Robert and the late Marion (Stecher) Shutter. He married Vicki K.Pascoe on February 18, 1978 at Wappingers, New York. He served in the Army. He was employed by Wappingers School District as a(n) Bus Driver. Local resident all his life, Baseball Coach for Wappingers Little League, Past President of the Pop Warner Foot Ball League in Wappingers was a scout leader, loved wood crafting, Avid sports fan. Was very friendly and caring guy who loved to spend his summers up on Cranberry Lake. He is survived by his wife: Vicki J.(Pascoe) Shutter and two daughters: Amy Diaz of Plattekill, NY, Brianna Shutter of Poughkeepsie, NY; Brother of one sister: Denise Roycroft of Las Vegas, NV and two brothers: Robert John Shutter of PA, Scott Shutter of Poughkeepsie, NY; he also has four grandchildren. Son And Daughter In-law, Jeffrey And Christine Shutter of Poughkeepsie, NY; Son And Daughter In-law, Todd And Lisa Shutter of Wappingers, NY; Daughter And Son In-law, Heather And Nathaniel Vazquez of Mechanicville, NY; Grandchildren, Alexis, Nicholas, Arek And Kimberly Diaz; Grandchildren, Shawn Shutter; Grandchildren, Benjerman, Timothy Shutter; Grandchildren, Elijah, Isabella Vazquae. The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Zion Church Wappingers, with officiating. Burial will be in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie on at . Calling hours will be Wednesday, April 1 from 4pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to National Liver Reseach.
