Obituary of Charles DuBois

Charles W. DuBois, age 93, of Poughkeepsie, died Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital Poughkeepsie, NY. Charles was born February 11, 1922 in Poughkeepsie, NY. He is the son of the late Charles H. and the late Rose (Burke) DuBois. He married Lorretta DuBois on February 20, 1070, Lorretta predeceased Charles on May 22, 2002. He served in the Army during World War II. He retired from Western Publishing Poughkeepsie New York as a Lithographer in 1982. Charles was a member of Poughkeepsie Elks #275, VFW, American Legion 1302, Western Publishing Retirees and Past member of Booth Hose. He was a local resident all his life, he was a PER of Poughkeepsie Elks Lodge #275 and Past Commander of the American Legion. He is survived by his step-daughter and son In-law, Joan Landolfa, step grandchildren Lori Landry, Michael Landolfa, Ruby Rose Landry and Martin Landolfa, sister and brother in-law Shirley and Arthur Scea. Charles was also survived by his companion Gina Davidson and her daughter Rebecca Green, niece Rose Pool and several nieces and nephews. Charles was predeceased by his brother John DuBois and a sister Doris Riley. Calling hours will be Monday, March 30, 2015 from 6pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, 342 South Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.
