Obituary of Elaine Licato

Elaine J. Licato, age 69, of Poughkeepsie, died peacefully surrounded by her family Saturday, April 18, 2015 at home in Poughkeepsie after a long battle with cancer. Elaine was born March 19, 1946 in Bronx, NY. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Eleanor (Tambone) Leno. She married Steven F. Licato on March 19, 1977 in Poughkeepsie, New York. She was previously employed at Dutchess Community College as a Secretary., she was a customer service representative at TEG Credit Union and after retirement she worked part time at AC Moore. Elaine belonged to Holy Trinity Church Poughkeepsie, and the Mid Hudson Miniature Doll House Club. She loved to do stamping and crafts. She is survived by her husband: Steven F. Licato of Poughkeepsie, New York and two daughters: Lisa Arimento of Beacon, NY, Gina Licato of Poughkeepsie, NY; brother Nick Leno of Germantown, NY; she also has three grandchildren, Daniel and Keelinna Roche and Eric Esponosa. Calling hours will be held 4pm to 8pm Wednesday April 22, 2015 at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York 12603. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on at Holy Trinity Church, 775 Main Street, Poughkeepsie, NY. Burial will follow at St. Peters Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, New York.
