Obituary of Mary Iovino

Mary A. "Marie" Iovino, age 75, of Poughkeepsie, died Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at the Renaissance Nursing Home Staatsburg, NY. Mary was born April 4, 1940 in the Bronx. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Josephine (Amato) Constantino. She married Stephen J. Iovino on June 17, 1961 in the Bronx. Mary was a local resident since 1976, previously of the Bronx. She was employed by IBM East Fishkill. In her spare time, Mary was a strong advocate for the disabled. She is survived by her husband: Stephen J. Iovino, one daughter: Linda M. Iovino of Poughkeepsie, NY; one son: Stephen V. Iovino of Poughkeepsie, NY and one sister: Joanne(Bob) Catanese of Plainview, NY. Calling hours will be Sunday, April 26, 2015 from 2pm to 6pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:30am on Monday, April 27, 2015 at St. Mary's Mother Of The Church, 100 Jackson Street, Fishkill, NY.
