Obituary of John Viano

John A. Viano, Sr., age 66, of Poughkeepsie, died Friday, April 24, 2015 at home in Poughkeepsie. John was born January 26, 1949 in Kingston, NY. He is the son of the late Fortunato and the late Beatrice I. (Mellor) Viano. He married Donna M. Catanzaro on March 11, 1972 at Our Lady Of Mount Carmel. He served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam war from 1967 to 1970. He was the owner of Viano Heating And Cooling. John loved being outdoors and fishing, but the most important part of John's life was being with his wife, children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife: Donna M.(Catanzaro) Viano ; daughter and son In-law, Ann Viano-Andren and her husband Erik of Poughkeepsie, NY; daughter and son In-law, Nicolette Viano-Burnett and her husband Randall of Poughkeepsie, NY; son and daughter In-law, John and Stacey A. Viano Jr. of Poughkeepsie, NY; grandchildren, Anna, Seren and Nicholas Viano, Olivia and Annika Andren; sister and brother In-law, Catherine and Ivan Pece; sister and brother In-law, Anita and Bruce Craddock; sister and Brother In-law, Michealia and Douglas Craddock. John was also predeceased by his Daughter, Anna B. Viano. Calling hours will be Monday, April 27, 2015 from 5pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Hurley Cemetery, Zandhoek Road, Hurley, NY.
