Obituary of Anthony Dalbo
Anthony Thomas Dalbo, Sr., 42, of Staatsburg, passed away on May 4th surrounded by his family in the comfort of his home.
Born on June 26, 1972, Anthony was the adored son of Thomas J. Dalbo, Jr. and Frances M. (Gallo) Dalbo. He graduated from Franklin Delano Roosevelt High School in 1991 wherein after Anthony continued doing what he loved and was a naturally gifted talent at over the last 24 years side by side with his Dad and Mom as an ASE Certified Master Automotive Technician at the family repair shop, T&D Auto Service, Inc. in Poughkeepsie. Anthony will always be remembered for his meticulous ethic and endless knowledge of his trade.
Anthony was well known for his hobbies which included driving his 1998 Cobra SVT everyone loved and got enjoyment out of. He loved riding his motorcycle and snowmobile and always living on the edge with a need for speed.
His latest drive in life was his family which included his son Anthony, Jr., his daughter, Jolene Frances, and his stepdaughters Aileen Maeve and Genevieve Lee whom all filled him with genuine joy, love and happiness.
Anthony is survived by his girlfriend, Christine, his beloved mother, Frances Marie Dalbo, his admired father, Thomas J. Dalbo, his loving siblings which include his cherished big sister Theresa Dalbo and her three sons Scott, Jr., Jacob and Dilion, his adored little sister, Stephanie and husband James Dunn and their daughter Madison, and his brother he was so proud of, Thomas and wife Tonya and their daughter Ivy. He is also survived by endless aunts, uncles, and cousins and lastly, but not least, his loved and cherished grandmother, Angelina Gallo. He also is survived by countless numbers of friends who he viewed as family throughout his entire life. Calling Hours will take place Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Avenue Poughkeepsie, NY 12603 from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral Service will take place Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 10am at Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel-St. Peters Church.
