Obituary of James Mullen

James T. Mullen, age 59, of Wappingers, died Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center Poughkeepsie, NY James was born October 2, 1955 in Poughkeepsie, NY. He is the son of James V. and the late Nancy (Sammartino) Mullen. He married Cynthia Kaiser on July 1, 1988 at St. John's Lutheran Church Poughkeepsie, New York. He was employed at Fishkill Correctional Facility in Fishkill New York as a Correction Officer. James was a member of NYSCOPBA, he loved music, martial arts and being involved with music at Church. He is survived by his wife: Cynthia(Kaiser) Mullen of Wappingers ; his father James V. Mullen of Hyde Park; daughter and son In-law, Nikki and Michael Nagy of Coco Beach, FL; sister Pamela Mullen of Hyde Park, NY; brother Thomas " Ricky" Mullen of Wappingers, NY; brother and sister In-law, Robert and Gina Mullen of Hyde Park, NY; father in-law Arthur Kaiser of Wappingers; brother in-law, Martin Kaiser and his wife Nancy; sister in-law, Kathleen Peters and her husband Glen of Hudson; step grandmother Eleanor Sammartino of Wappingers and several nieces and nephews and many friends. James was also predeceased by his brother, Mark Mullen in 2004. Calling hours will be Tuesday, May 26, 2015 from 4pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 the Doyle Funeral Home with burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Wappingers Falls, NY.
