Dorothy H. Trinkle, age 86, of Poughkeepsie, died Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Wingate At Ulster Highland , NY. Dorothy was born February 11, 1929 in New York, NY. She is the daughter of the late Helen Roosa Lorie. She married William Peter Trinkle on January 4, 1948 at Trinity Lutheran Church Kingston, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, William Peter Trinkle on August 20, 1994. She was a retired employee at Spackenkill School District. Dorothy's family was the most important part of her life. She is survived by her daughter and son in-law: Deborah and Stanley Hirsch of Poughkeepsie, NY; her son and daughter In-law, Terry and Dolores M. Trinkle of Lagrange, NY; grandsons, Brian Hirsch, Matthews and Mark Trinkle and her granddaughter, Kristie Thiel and her husband Ed. Dorothy was predeceased by her brother and sister in-law Raymond and Betty Tator. Calling hours will be Monday, July 6, 2015 from 5pm to 8pm at Timothy P.
