Obituary of Elizabeth Bonner

Elizabeth A. Bonner, age 80, of Poughkeepsie, died Thursday, July 2, 2015 after a long battle with Cancer at Vassar Brothers Medical Center of Poughkeepsie, NY, she is now in the arms of her Lord Jesus. Elizabeth was born June 21, 1935 in Yorktown, NY. She is the daughter of the late William and the late Wilhelmina (Stalter) Wilson. Elizabeth was born in Yorktown, NY, she grew up in Peelskill, NY and she also lived in Beacon, Florida and Poughkeepsie. Elizabeth was a member of the American Legion in Venice Florida, the Devotions of the First Saturdays of the Month, she was a devoted Catholic and she enjoyed NAS Car Racing and the Dallas Cowboys. Elizabeth is survived by her son James Wassmann and his wife Debra of Quartzsite Arizona, grandson Matthias Ceconi of Poughkeepsie, great grandson Linus Ceconi of Greenville, NY, brothers William Wilson Sr. and his wife Susan of Sheffield, Gilbert Wilson and his wife Patricia of Sarasota Fla., sisters Willa Regina Tari of Venice, Fla, Marylou Segreti and her husband of Sarasota, Fla, sister in-laws Lillie Wilson, and Patricia Wilson both of Bradenton Fla and one Aunt, several nieces and nephews and many cousins. Elizabeth was predeceased by her three husbands Harry Adams, John Ceconi, Richard Bonner, daughter Italia Cerconi Evans and three brothers Jack, Gary and Robert. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at St. Martin DePorres Church, Cedar Valley Road, Poughkeepsie, NY. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Peekskill, New York.
