Obituary of Wendy Lefebvre

Wendy Lefebvre, 57 of Wappingers Falls passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 25, 2015 surrounded by her family and friends. Wendy was born on April 6, 1958 on a snowy Easter Sunday and was the daughter of Ricky and the late Henry Schenk. Wendy was a graduate of Roosevelt High School in Yonkers, NY. On March 5, 1994 she married Gene Lefebvre, who survives at home. She is survived by her mother, Ricky Schenk, sister and brother-in-law Debby and Vincent Bonacorso of Eastchester; son Derek Byrne, his wife Marcella, their son, Dominic of Poughkeepsie; son Garrett Byrne and his longtime girlfriend Antoinette of Wappingers Falls; her nephew Keith McCabe his wife Maria and their children Ethan and Amalia, as well as, many other family and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Henry Schenk. Wendy had an infectious smile, and was always ready to laugh. Wendy had many passions which included interior design that she turned into her life's work. Wendy also enjoyed traveling, visiting friends, crafts, girl's nights, baking, shoes and fashion. Wendy loved spending time with her family and friends. A memorial mass will be held 2pm on October 10th 2015 at St. Martin DePorres Church, 118 Cedar Valley Rd, Poughkeepsie, NY.
