Obituary of Cecilia Eichel

Cecilia E. Eichel, age 93, of Poughkeepsie, died peacefully in her sleep, Saturday, November 7, 2015 at The Pines At Poughkeepsie. Cecilia was born December 25, 1921 in Yonkers, NY., She is the daughter of the Late Walter and the Late Edna Barnett Bedder. She married Howard William Eichel on March 15, 1944 in Yonkers, New York, he was predeceased her on November 25, 2003. Cecilia was a local resident since 1969 previously of Hawthorne, NY. Cecilia was a member of St. Mary's Church in Poughkeepsie. She loved to play Bingo, Puzzles and Scratch Offs. Cecilia also was a Volunteer at Vassar Brothers Medical Center for over 20 years. She is survived by her daughter: Judy Graham of Poughkeepsie, NY; three grandchildren, Dawn Kemmerer; Heather Graham and Jennifer Graham. Cecilia is also survived by Nine Great Grandchildren and One Great Great Grandson. There are no calling hours and burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
