Obituary of Irene Alphonse

Irene C. " Renee" Alphonse, age 66, of Poughkeepsie, died Monday, November 9, 2015 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center Poughkeepsie, NY. Renee was born March 10, 1949 in Poughkeepsie, NY. She is the daughter of Louis and the late Irene Clair (Kelley) Alphonse. She retired from Poughkeepsie City Schools as a Secretary in March of 2015. During her employment she worked in both the High School and Middle School. Renee was a lifelong local resident. A member of St. Martin dePorres Church in Poughkeepsie. Renee was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed every moment she spent with them. She also took care of her father and enjoyed photography. She is survived by ; her father Louis Alphonse of Poughkeepsie; daughter and son In-law, Shannon and Richard Aiello of Poughkeepsie, NY; son and daughter In-law, Sean and Tia Wiser of Highland, NY; Grandchildren, Tyler, Justin and Meghan Aiello, Aden, and Sieara Wiser; brother and sister In-law, Andy and Carol Alphonse of Unionvale, NY; brother and sister In-law, John and Sylvia Alphonse of New Jersey; brother Michael Alphonse of Poughkeepsie, NY, Joseph Alphonse of NC and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Friday, November 13, 2015 from 4pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Poughkeepsie.
